Welcoming solace on a blustery day

Here on the Northumberland coast today, it's a beautiful sunny day interspersed with cloud. The beach is stunning, with 30 mph gusts of wind, although not particularly cold.

I've come up onto Ebb's Nook for a mooch this morning, nothing too serious, just wandering and exploring. As soon as I arrived, the wind dropped slightly and I found a perfect spot with sun streaming through. I'm sitting here now, able to feel the warmth of the sun, watching bees busy themselves among the flowers growing in the coastal grasses, taking in these beautiful views.

It strikes me how important it is for all of us to find these quiet spots sometimes. To step out of whatever blustery winds are buffeting us in our lives, making things difficult. We need to find that peace, that sheltered space where it's calmer, whether temporarily or for longer stretches. It's something we can all seek out and discover.

Just a gentle reminder that these moments of stillness are there for us when we need them.
